Ranged Fighter-surprisingly playable with Arbalest, Pistol, Cloudpiercer but can't compete with Ranger. You can stealth up and kill a squishy but by then a tanky rogue has killed 3 targets. Glass Melee Rogue-when engagement was king this was tier 1 but now enemies break off and 1 shot you. Melee Cipher- tank Wizard far superior spell choices, much better at range. Far better offtank but at least you have chants. Ranged Chanter-invocations still not fast enough to pull weight. Use DR auraĭps Monk-you have to take hits to deal damage, you can't do that if you insta die. Best burst healing and battle rez in the game, late game defense is so-so. Tank Paladin- noticeably worse then monk or wizard but top tier early game. Shield Dps-offtank with bash shield until you get durgen steel then enchant your shield with glass cannon build and fast weapon for absurd atk speed. Even after engagement nerf you can lock down half the battlefield
Go full tank and charge in solo while group is stealth with +4engage. Tank Fighter-worse then paladin early game, better late game. Charge in after tank for very consistent damage, intercept stragglers. Hybrid Fighter-heavy armor, full tank items with 2hander or dual wield. Ranged Rogue-any rogue does top single target damage, gun to 1 shot at the start, switch to bow mid game unless you want to weapon switch guns 4 times per fightĬontrol Wizard(ranged)-some form of control is advised for any group but every group should have a cipher and they are a better choice in this regard, especially early/mid game. MIGHT>PER>DEXīarbarian(any other build)-Will do top tier damage no matter what but very squishy and ability starved requires commitment. Ranger(War Bow)-bear pet to survive, very safe ranged damage single target & AE damage. DEX>MIGHT>PER>INTĬhanter Offtank- go full tank, design chants based on party needs, best utility offtank besides another wizard.
Ranged Cipher(Any Bow)-glass cannon full attack speed, endless free spells. Monk Offtank(dual wield)-poorly designed class but extremely powerful when babysat. Tanky Rogue(dual wield)-most your damage is built in at lv 1, go tank items with medium armor, run around flank and gank with impunity. The following items and spells will be excluded for the purpose of this tier list, abusing any of these is considered top tier by default: Stormcaller, Abaydon's Hammer, Druid Storm Spells, Cipher Amplified Wave, Retaliation solo build, Dichotomous Soul.īarbarian(reach weapon)-hide behind two tanky characters and build light armor mostly glass cannon with INTINT>RES build tanky but no armor. Things like solo or abusing bad pathing/AI was not considered for this tier list, nor parties of less then 6 or speedruns. This guide was made with the entire game in mind, including White March II.
